Finishing up a body off restoration. Frame is done, and just about ready to land the body.

Clean? Really? I thought black wheels didn't require cleaning.Otherwise, why bother?

I know many race cars have black wheels. I'm guessing that's where this trend started, but in all my years of watching races, I have yet to see any pit crew member leap over the wall with a spray bottle of Griot's wheel cleaner and a microfiber towel during a fuel stop.

When is this silly fad going to diminish?

Try Deja Vu in Lake City or Victoria's Secret.

Jeez, I just crack myself up sometimes.

Sorry Ken

There's a shop right in Auburn that does the Xpel clear-bra. Dealer Xpress. I had them give me a quote on getting clear bra but decided not to do it. I looked at a couple cars they had done and it looked like a clean install.

I did have them tint my windows and they did a good job there.

Pulled my heads off of my 427 vert with 6000 miles and found four valve guides out of spec!!!!! I became suspicious by the sound engine was making. Sent the heads off to AHP
in Ca. Milled .020 port and polish, PSI springs, TI retainers, Moldstar guides!! Very happy!

Mostly done. Peicing together the wrong parts and going to the Winter Olympics slowed me down. Now just have to jack it up and install the sensor plugs.
Double din metra with trans and diff temp gauges.
