We visited there a year or so ago. It is a very interesting museum with many great race cars, and some hydroplanes and motorcycles, on display. This would be a good place to visit as a group when the weather is a little warmer.

I didn't see any end date for the Corvette exhibit, maybe it's permanent, does anybody happen to know? If it runs through March 10th they also have a high performance engine theory and design workshop on that date.

Don't know yet. I Emailed them yesterday with that question and have yet to hear back. Will advise.

Just got off the phone with one of the nice minions at the museum. Seems the Corvette exhibit may run into Aprll. No details as to what will be shown and no information as to any extra-curricular events might be associated with it.

I suspect any groups coming to see it will be on their own as to what they might do in terms of staging any rallies, road trips, honeymoons, Bacchanalia or cannonball runs they might have in mind. Hopefully the Orygun subscribers on this forum will let us know what, if any, events might be planned around the exhibit and allow us to join them

I believe there may be a discounted admission for (already a very modest $10) groups available.

So that's all I know for now.

(well, except the Corvette exhibit will be followed by a Porsche 911 exhibit so.... )

Here's what it say's on the site you put up...
This exhibit honors the history of the first great American sports car: the Chevy Corvette. Opens Saturday, January 6 and runs through Saturday, April 15!

Was there last summer when heading south down I-5. Stayed in Wilsonville overnight. Nice place, got a few pics of what they had then. A guy there told me it was run by a local couple and they changed the cars displayed every so often.
Nice to see they are up to speed on social issues also...

Less than half a car on the wall.

We are members at WoS. A nice perc is that membership enrolls you in a museum reciprocity program where you get free entry at many cooperating museums.

Notable is that the LeMay - America's Car Museum is a participating organization.

I volunteered there until I got sick and was (am) too shaky to help them. The photos show they have really grown. I haven't been there since March 2017. Plan to go and see the exhibits. When I was there, most of the cars were donated by individuals for a certain time. Am going to see if MHCC & WVCA want to go as a group. I live about 5miles from them. Drive by on the I5 and last night there were 3 school buses parked in the lot

Received this today from the Museum

HI Phillip,
The Corvette Exhibit will be on display for 4 months, until April 15th. At this time, we do not have any lectures or speakers planned around this exhibit. I will pass on the suggestion to our team.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

Some of you may recall the remains of this boat parked out at some trailer sals lot in Fife for many years before restoration.
