I'm toying around with the idea of getting sound insulation installed for my 2017 GS. I've seen some threads where people have done this themselves, but with my miscellaneous joint issues, this is probably not a good project for me.

Has anyone here ever used an installer to do this? I checked out Dynamat's website and they have installers listed for the Seattle area, though most of those are CarToys outlets.

Here's just another option,
Before adding permanent weight, you might want to consider The Blockit "Quick & Quiet"
Its a 60 second install. No cutting, no gluing, no ripping out yout interior.
Simple place the pre cut mat right on top of your factory carpet in the cargo area.
Since there is no glue so you can remove it for track event (the whole system weight about 19 lbs). Reinstall for the quite ride home.
Helps with road/tire and some exhaust noise. However it still allows the sweet exhaust note to come through when you get on it.
