Visit to WAAAM in Hood River July 13 - 15
Carol-Jean and I are going to the WAAAM in Hood River July 13, 14, and 15. WAAAM is an antique car, motorcycle and airplane museum that flies aircraft on the second Saturday of the month. Their website is www.waaamuseum.org .
The plan is to leave on a Friday morning, drive down 7 to Morton, then east to Randle and then south on the east side of St. Helens with a possible side trip in to the Windy Ridge viewpoint. I have not driven those roads for a few years, but when I did they were in excellent condition with a lot of curves. They come out in Carson. From there we go east to Hood River. Saturday would be spent mainly at the museum, then dinner in Hood River. Sunday would be the return home day.
If anyone is interested in going let me know and I can get a block of rooms at a hotel in the area.

You can even ride in the cars around the Air Park for a small donation.
Count me in so long as I don't have something else more important come up. No hotel needed as I live in NE Portland.

Maybe there will be a few more responses in June, once people are more clear on summer plans.
I live in Portland so it's easy for me to make time (hour and 10 minutes) for the drive out and back.
Looking forward to meeting up with whomever shows.
