How "Mod Friendly" is Idaho?
Hello all,
Was wondering if anyone here lives in Idaho, and if so, can fill me in on how friendly they are to engine mods? How far can I go, and still pass smog tests there?
Thanks!

4 years ago I bought a 1991 in Idaho. It was supercharged, the air pump was removed, it had a custom dual exhaust with no catalytic converters, along with a few other things. It was licensed in Idaho. When I got back to Washington it failed the emissions test. After a short session with my local auto mechanic it passed Washington emissions with no problem.
Unless things have changed in Idaho you should have no problems.

I live in North Idaho and we have no emissions inspections at all. I have a friend in Boise and he says they have smog tests, but he is not a car guy so I would still verify.
