C5 Steering Rack Service-Replacement
I am having an issue with my vette that I believe will require replacement of the steering rack:

I am trying to compile a list of places that I could have this done should it become necessary.
Yes, I know Corvettes of Auburn could do it, but after my Dad's Z06 sat there for 6 weeks, I know they are quite busy-seems like everybody is.
I'd also love to find a closer place to do things like this. As you all know, traffic is just a nightmare sometimes and I really don't feel like sitting in traffic for a 1/2 day (drop off and pick up).
I have owned my C5 since September 2007 and I have NEVER taken it to a dealership, BUT I can get to the local dealer in about 5-10 minutes or less. (http://www.chevroletbuickgmcpuyallup...OurServiceTeam)
I also e-mailed Kimballs alignment and brake center in Tacoma-they aligned my vette after it was lowered.
Any thoughts?
