Default Bought ANOTHER new car, this time for the wife!

Quite the birthday present indeed it's a 2014 Audi TT, and we're looking at adding another

We pulled both of our respective toys out for a wash in the snow last weekend, cus, why not?

my husband bought me my first back in 2004. He had just bought himself a brand new ,mustang. problem was he drove my Vette, which was a C4 and fell in love with and sold the mustang at a big loss . Bought the C5 and has been a Vette guy ever since!!

You're on to the secret - happy wife, happy life!

I helped my wife purchase a Mini Cooper S a while back and she still enjoys driving it. AND fully supported my purchase of my '16 Z06 when the time came!

The Audi looks nice, Erik. I've heard a lot of good things about them but never driven one.

Thank you I am surely one to keep my wife happy, since I chased her for almost 5 years before we started dating

The new Audi's make such excellent commuters, I just fell in love with my A3 when I drove it, and now it's a monster O_O $1000.oo in go fast parts and I'm cutting mid 3 second 0-60 times, and 1.85 second 60' times in the 1/4 mile on cheap, Taiwanese eco street rubber after the big Garrett turbo gets slapped on, it'll be faster in the 1/2 mile, that's HALF MILE than a stock C7 Z06....all for under $5500.oo in parts and tuning; stock bottom end, stock head, stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock clutch (it's a DSG, dual clutch). Definitely NOT touching those numbers in my C5 with such a miniscule investment

Just picked my new intercooler up off the porch this morning! Alllll 25 lbs of it it is almost the same volume as a 2007 Ford F250 6.0l diesel intercooler...going on a 2.0l 4 cyl. Should give me some capacity for a while. Sucker is 3.5" thick.

Erik: quite the car collector now....Audi plus Corvette family. Good combination. Fun with modern technology yet you can play with some basic technology as well. Looking forward to seeing you this season. BTW, the Chelan "club" is meeting in Chelan on June 1st. You got the shirt so I guess that makes you a member, right?
