I called my refuse company and they said to just put my old printer out with the garbage which I did. Perhaps they are not all the same but you might give your company a call.
I'm guessing they will take more than just your empty Scotch bottles.

There is a place in Snohomish across the street from the airport on the way to Fred's that takes all used electronic equipment as well as appliances. Give you an excuse to come up here for lunch.

It's that obvious, huh Pat? It's Walter's fault. Although, being far wealthier than me, he has very few empty scotch bottles. The few he does have he uses to throw at bears from his hot tub.
At least he says they are bears. Being the big guy he is, I have it on good authority he's working out and on a diet. Apparently some of the male bears are coming around Chez Hein, carrying bouquets of flowers and reeking of English Leather cologne.
And who could blame them, right?
Oh, by the way, I called my own refuse company and you were right. When I asked them where I might leave my old printer, they asked me if I knew where you lived.

Phil:
Front street Staples is now a Lazy boy store. I know the one in Redmond (next to Ben Franklin and QFC on Redmond Way takes them. I took four from my company there recently. I suspect O-D will also take them.
Cheers,
