Desert Aire Regional Airport (M94)is on the Columbia River in central Washington. If you want some other activities, while living with your airplane.........Desert Aire is the premier place.
We have an 18 hole golf course, new outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, workout facility, and Grant county built a $3 million boat launch 3 years ago, into 18 mile long Priest Rapids Lake.
Call, text, email.................we are moving closer to our kids.

This is your big chance to park 20 Corvettes in this hangar......................and 50 years later be famous for your fabulous "barn find" Corvette collection!! There is NO better place to store equipment, than Desert Aire. We get 7.2" of rain, average, per year. MUCH less than Tucson or Phoenix.

We don't get much snow..................about 3" twice this winter. But it does get cold in the winter, and can get very hot in the summer. I came from western Washington 6 years ago, and have become acclimated to the hot.
The extremes are buffered slightly by the cost of electricity.........$0.0457/kWh......I "think" the lowest in the US. Microsoft and Google and Bitcoin have HUGE data farms in Quincy because of the low power rate, So air conditioning is cheap.
Grant County PUD also supplies fiber optic internet service, which is lightning fast..........so that is nice.
I do like having the Columbia River in my backyard. I can have my 1959 Glasspar G3 (painted 1967 Corvette Marlboro Maroon) in the water in 5 minutes from the hangar.

The whole package sounds like a good deal for the right person. I learned to fly back in 72 at Paine FIeld but was too heavily involved in drag racing to afford both. One of those Malibu Corvette boats would also look good on that lake.

How are the dust storms out there? Any filtration on the shop/hanger to keep the cake off the toys?

Some positive air pressure filtration system might be good. The worst of the dust, though, is over. Last year they chip sealed all the roads in Desert Aire. That caused dust. Getting much better recently.
We have had one haboob in the 6 years I've been here. Funny.......we were out in our 13 1/2 ft boat at the time. We beached it!!
