or lets say you buffed the **** out of it. 2 years later the customer gets a scratch or bird crap or whatever. You try to buff it again. And no more clear. Time to repaint again.

Lots of you guys sand and re clear. That is a good idea for show cars. Looks very nice!

i have 6 coats of clear on the cars i build. enough to rebuff a couple of times. you pay 10k for a paint job then go home and scratch it you should have to pay for it.
