No disrespect intended but.....
I read Lars document on body repair and paint basics. It seems pretty straight forward and it is written in a very easy to understand manner.
But 2 questions:
1) Is this still a generally accepted method /process to follow?
2) Since it was written in 2001, are the product numbers still relevant or are there better products out there now? (Actually I have a Dupont supplier within a couple of miles and may go that route)
Again, no disrespect to Lars,,,,,after all, he rebuilt my carb and distributor and I will probably have a question or two for him at a later date!!!

If you have the latest version of the paper the product numbers and processes are still valid and current. All of the major paint suppliers have the same basic types of products, and the process is the same regardless of the product line you choose - you can use the Dupont product line with as much success as PPG or Standox - use what you can get.
