Well Porchdog, you've done it...
I'm going with the whole SPI line on my '69 vert starting with their direct-to-metal epoxy on the frame. I've got a very long way to go (in addition to chassis rebuild I'm replacing the birdcage right now), but so far their stuff looks great!

holy tore to hell batman................ been many moons since i dove that deep into one. you'll like spi . it is very user friendly with a ton of back up on the spi users site.
in talking with an old painter friend i realized that the majority of corvettes i've done have all been 1st paints just about. each one i owned was all original . most only had 35k miles on them. next one for me is a 54 i think. the owner of the 57 i'm doing also has a 54 to restomod.
