Default Removing paint from carbon-fiber parts

Can anyone give me a few words of advice on what chemicals or methods it would take to remove painted on icons from carbon-fiber parts without wrecking the carbon-fiber, damage or discoloring it? Thanks

If you find out, I'd like to know too.
I bought a CF MCM hood that is painted.
Id like to have the paint removed in the center section, to let the carbon show through the center section.

It can be done by simply sanding the paint off evenly with a fine grit sandpaper, and progressing to finer and finer grits. The panel will have to be re-clearcoated afterwards, and you need to take care not to significantly sand into the gelcoat or resin or risk damage to the carbon itself... I did it on the rear wing on my lancer evolution (early Evo VIII's had all carbon wings with painted sides)

Do you have a picture of what sort of "icons" you are referring to? A good close up pic would help greatly in determining the best course of action in your particular situation

I have used for Graffiti & Spray Paint Remover and i can recommend for this product. This product is very effective to remove paint and it can't make any damage on carbon-fiber.
