Question: C4 Bumpers, Crossfire and FC720 Clear.
I've been using this to re-do the Vette and it looks great. Coming to the bumpers now and I am told by Martin Senour there is no flex agent for the paint or the clear.
1) What would you do?
2) What about additives like "Bulldog"
???

I found this:
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Martin-Senour Urethane Flexible Additive 3084 offers you the advantage of one flexible additive for acrylic lacquer,
acrylic enamel, polyurethane enamel, acrylic urethane enamel, and primer-surfacers. It adds flexibility to each of
these systems.
I believe you had bad advice

I got that advice directly from their tech line in an email!!
Wonder who they're sourcing this out to?

I didn't see crossfire listed there, so I called them up instead of emailing.. And they informed me that there is nothing that works with crossfire, because it's not supposed to flex and they don't recommend painting anything flexible with it, ever.

'Bulldog' as you may know is an adhesion promoter and not a 'flex' additive.
Depending on the color of your car ...changing paint systems and getting the color to match can now be quite fun. You really have no other choice ...except to take teh chance and paint the urethane bumpers in the 'crossfire' an see if they fail....

There is the answer to the million dollar question. Seems that you are now in serious predicament.

I know they're advertising bulldog as a "flex agent" but, as you say.. I thought it was an adhesion promoter?
Here's an example:
I dunno what to do right now? I would like to use what I have, but I don't want to end up with a mess..
Suggestions would be most helpful.

I have my own flex additive from my paint system....so if I incorrectly responded to thinking that 'Bulldog' did not have a flex additive...I can be wrong due to all i know about is the aerosol adhesion promoter they sell.
As far as I can see it your destiny is set. You have to use another paint that can be flexed if you do not want the Crossfire to fail. Simple as that.
