VPA over steel
From what I read steel is ok for a substrate for VPA. I used it to recontour my fuel door to match my GTS quarters. We are about to start a build on a model A and the gut likes the VPA we've use on my car. He wants to use it instead of Bondo . Any input?

Vette Panel Adhesive CAN be used on steel. I have used it on several metal body cars and never had a problem.
And hopefully your guy knows that it is much harder to work with that regular 'bondo' due to it gets so hard when it finally sets up

Yes he knows. He's been working it on my body and likes it better than bondo. We aren't having any issues working it. I wasn't sure about using it on steel. Thanks again

100% ...and if a person applies it so it looks like stucco because they have not yet mastered how to apply ir....well...then they better know when to get in on it and start to sand it before it gets too hard. ESPECIALLY if they do not have power tools to aid in sanding.
