91 Corvette paint side view mirrors
The paint on the side view mirrors of the 91 I recently picked up is a little sun / wind burned.
What's the best method of refinishing?
Can I do it with a light sanding & some rattle can primer & paint? Suggestions are most welcome.

Without good photos of the damage...it is hard to give a reply that is 100% worthwhile.
Granted I have painted many so I do understand what you described...BUT...the level or extent of the damage is where the process to prep and paint it can clearly differ. The integrity of the clearcoat is where problems can occur when painting on it.
Using aerosol paint can hold up for a short time. It can possibly fail due to the exposure to the elements and sun. Clear in aerosol can be a 'hit or miss' scenario. IF you go out and buy the paint...I would HIGHLY suggest that you shoot something else first and see how it is going to work.
And I am NOT saying that the aerosol paint will not work. But I use commercial grade paint on the exterior...and I also use aerosol paint on parts that are not being exposed to the sun with very good success.

I can not give any specific information about what type of aerosol primer or paint to use due to I would not use it in this scenario.
So...I will leave it up to you and what you get and I would still advise testing it first.
