Adhesive For License Plate Bracket?
What adhesive should I use to reattach my front license
plate bracket to the bumper of my 08? I do not want to
change brackets,want to keep the oem look.

Dud just wanting to secure the original front plate bracket. Was attached to the front
bumper with some sort of glue. Do not know how to post pics,old fart here that isn't
computer savy at all

I can list numerous type of glues...but they may also have the same effect as what you are experiencing currently.
Possibly use clear silicone adhesive and hope for the best...but without being able to see what is going on...that is the best 'guess' I can give you.
Because it makes no sense that GM would use a glue to hold on an important part like a license plate. Usually the license plate or bracket are bolted or securely fastened to the body in some manner for those states that require a front license plate.
Maybe someone is doing this ( or had done this) so no holes are being put in the front bumper cover...and you will be dealing with this from time to time.

Thanks for your reply Dub. There are no holes in the front bumper,
thankful for that. What ever glue that was used is difficult to remove
from the back of the bracket. The residue that was on the bumper
itself came off with Goo Gone.
