Paint touch up
I’m looking for accurate touch-up paint for a 2012 Toyota.
I have good places to get a match for the old lacquer based paints for the older cars.
Duplicolor hasn’t been too good these days the last match I tried was for a 2003 Jeep and it wasn’t even close.
Any information on Base coat - Clear coat or the Water born paints used in rattle cans or micro brushes would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Rich

All I can say is that not knowing the paint code...and how many variants that specific color actually ahs. Because many colors have variants to them.
You might need to get it custom mixed.
And if it is a metallic color.
Trying to touch up a metallic color is hard to do due to the color like to darken when applied by the fact that the metalics are not being atomized...which lightens the color.
