Wrapping my C6: pics and questions inside 👍
Background:
Hi everyone, I’m a DIY level kind of guy. I’ve dipped cars several times and I’m just not up to dealing with the overspray cleanup any longer and I’m toot confident enough in my abilities to do real paint. Plus I like the idea of changing the appearance of my cars every so often. So this is my first wrap job, I’ve taken a training course from Avery Dennison a while back to give myself the best chance at success.
Questions:
1. Opinions on putting the small GM badges back on the rear quarters?
2. How do you reapply badges? The front and rear flags are in great shape so no need to replace but clearly I’ve removed the double sided tape. Do you use double sided tape and use a razor to contour it to the badge, 3M press in place, maybe something else I’ve not heard of?
Progress:
So far I’ve done the halo, roof, hood and 3rd brake light/spoiler in that order. I have to remove the GM quarter panel badges and mirrors then do one last thorough wipe down of wages and crevices to ensure a best case install.
Here are are some pics of it:

Had to take a couple weeks off from the wrap but I got back at it today.
I have the passenger side mirror, and light smoke tint for the fogs and headlights plus a little reassembly and I can call it done.

The car is basically finished now. The headlight tint is too dark and has been removed while I consider other options as I want to remain safe 1st but would like a headlight that flows better than the OEM silver I have at the moment.

Any thoughts on what that may be? Love the feedback but I’m not sure what it would be other than maybe it appears unfinished because I chose black for the hood and a color matched hood flows better with the body lines?
