Rage Gold verses Vette Panel on SMC

Rage Gold verses Vette Panel on SMC
OK stupid question of the day
I have an SMC panel I repaired area using Fiberglass mat /West Systems resin.
What should I use to fill and level the area?
I've used Rage Gold a lot and like it, but is Vette Panel better for this?
Is it a long term expansion/contraction thing?? Or?
Also I think I need a spot putty next like Metal Glaze, or ??
Then epoxy primer, then urethane primer?
Any thoughts and experience with this is appreciated.
My car so looking for best long term durability.

Vette Panel Adhesive is much stouter than Rage Gold. I only use Vette Panel Adhesive and I do not use any types of spot putties or glazing putties due to the stuff would dry up in the can before I would use then up. You can use VPA for any minor imperfections but how you apply it is what can make it an easy repair or screw up what you did.
Knowing that the VPA is stouter and get way harder than the Rage Gold...this is why I use it exclusively at my shop.
If you have never used VPA and want some tips. PM me.

I use mat and resin / VPA / and Glasin in places where I need strength and I dont want a crack or I did a repair
Mat and Resin / VPA and Glasin are superior in strength to body filler
I use Rage Ultra - but this for body work only - where I am using thin coats to smooth a panel.
I hope this makes sense.
VPA and Glasin are so strong you can drill and tap it....

For primer - Polyester primer - then block then - then a 2k primer - block that
If your doing a metal car - then an epoxy would have been the first primer to go down.
Epoxy seals the metal from oxygen and prevents rust
