Default Chrome bumper help please

I just received a used bumper for a full size car from a LVegas junk yard. It’s in good condition, no rust but it does have some dents - not really bad dents but noticeable.

I think these dents can be hammered out from the backside. Can someone please show me what kind of hammer(s) or their weight I need to use. Do I need one of those sand bags to support the bumper?
I have a general Idea for what to do but I’m concerned I’ll be beating myself up before I manage to get the bumper straight.

Thanks for your help,
Rich

Are you planning on having the bumper chrome plated again???

Not knowing WHERE these dents are is is pointless to show you photos of pick hammers. In some cases it may be that you use a piece of steel you grind and shape and then use that to put on the backside of the dent and use a regular hammer to strike it.

I can tell you that hammering dents out it a skill that takes time to perfect due to you do not go in the center of the dent and try to push it back out. .You have to hammer it from where you start to see the dent begin and work your way around the dent so you stretch the metal back in where it goes and on a bumper with it beign so thick...it can take some time.
