Default C3 vs c4 smc resin change?

Thought I would start a new thread on this to prevent getting off topic on someone else’s thread.

Does anyone know if the type of resin/formula changed in the smc built c3s and the c4? I have found info that the they switched to a poly/vynelester blend on c5s, but no information on c4s.

I can try to find out from some of my sources that would know and I believe it did BUT I cannot confirm it 100%.

Reason being that the 1984's did and do have some issues in paint bubbling on panels but I cannot confirm that it is specifically caused by the resin change due to these area of bubbling do not occur on the entire surface BUT they occur in areas where it makes not sense.

I DO know that the new panels that are being reproduced for the C3's that are made out of SMC, should not be assumed that they are being made with the same resin as the originals.
