You need Hp to get into the 11's and Hp costs money. Figure you are going to need at least the usual bolt ons and some drag tires to move yourself closer to that goal at a minimum. And if you have a MN6 be prepared to wear stuff out. Coming off the line at 5k plus RPM takes it toll on parts.

I've found out what a innocent catback system can lead to. I also mod. to save myself from any embarassment against everyday challengers that I may come up against on my way to work, lol. Anyway, if you can run eleven's, in the high 120's, it's rare to have anything around that could even hang on the open road and especially after 4800rpm with a 7000rpm rev. limiter. You might as well give them the ole' good-bye wave.

see mods in sig. 11.84 @ 116 on drag radials before i added the stereo and 100 plus lbs of dynamat.

cia, catback,3.90 gears, and a 100shot for me got me 11.75 years ago. 150 shot went down to 11.30's. Otherwise stock FRC

Bolt ons and alot of seat time. Or you can go in deeper and go with a head and cam package or just a mild shot.

LG Pro Lts, vararam and BFGs and I went 11.89 @ 117 and 1.83 short:o Swapped out MT ET St radials and went 11.82 @ 118 with 1.70 60. This is with a slow 01. 02+ tires and most drivers can go 11s.
