Technical Data Needed
Long story, but I am an engineering conference at MIT. We are having a debate about the affects of timing on the torque curve. The engineers don't believe the impact is as severe as my experience tells me.
If anyone will be running a car on a dyno today, I would like to get some information. I need a car that has been dialed in with X* of timing producing X rwhp and X rwtq. I need a comparison run performed with 5-7* fewer degrees of timing (X* - 5 or X* - 7). I need the dyno data and log data (HPTuners or EFILive) showing the only change being timing. If possible a third run with slightly more timing to show that X* is optimal.
The more data the better.
