Default Thanks ECS!!!!

I just got back from getting a tune at ECS. First let me say that they are very nice people to deal with!

I hoped that I would see at least 400 RWHP. I ended up with 420 RWHP/358 Torque. I'm thrilled.

The car drives like stock until you put your foot into it.

Thanks again guys.

Bob K.

BTW, my buddy appricated the straight answers about his c6.

Yep...a very fine group of folks down in Cream Ridge.

Glad to hear you had a great experience. Hope you came away with lots of "new" ideas for the next set of mods. It's easy to do while you are there.

We were going to go to the track but after seeing how much boost we were making the boys convinced me to hold off so they could work some more magic to safely manage the increase in power. It would have been easy for them to say - just go and risk a bad and expensive outcome given my desire to test the new setup but they took the time to explain it and will have some new tricks that future High HP customers will benefit from. Now that's good service!!

All yours - I think they were doing some street driving to break it in a little before putting it up on the dyno. That said I hear Chris always says that when he wants to drive a customer's car around for the weekend. I think he had to go out of state

Hi Bob - No my blue car has a novi 2000 supercharger and a carbon fiber hood. It was home over the holiday until my wife made me bring it back to ECS Wednesday evening because when I start it in the garage it shakes the house so you may have missed it. You can't turn around without bumping into some pretty high HP cars in the ECS lot. Congrats on your car. I am betting you will be back for some more HP from the ECS boys

Nice setup.
Do you think if you had AFR 225 heads or ETP 215 heads you would be pushing 430-440RWHP. I am looking into a cam in that range and the heads I listed with same others mods as you.

Thanks
Dennis

Default Cam and Heads Comments

QUICKSLVR,

I like the cam. It idles at 900-950 rpm. It pulls like a madman from about 3500 up. Driving around town is fine. It runs fine in 6th gear a 60 MPH. I've taken it down to 1200rpm in 4th gear and it just pulls fine. I does like to be warm before it smooths out. My rev limiter is set for 6700 rpm because I have a stock bottom end and I'm not quite ready to upgrade to a 408 stroker yet.

BOWTYE8,

Yes I think that with AFR heads I'd get to 430+. My readings were lower also because I have 4:10's.

I'll be going to the track soon now that I've got 500 miles on the new clutch.

Bob K.
