I recently switched from a set of B&B PRTs to the stock TI, coudln't be happier. Car is a 402 stroker that made 509/475 on the prior setup. I didn't feel a difference in performance and the car is so much quieter. I'm happy with the setup, even if I really did lose a little HP the car is much more livable to me.
I'll go back to the track soon to see if I can back up the 127mph trap, I don't forsee it being an issue though.

Actually since I went to the track I've installed 1 7/8 kooks headers vs the 1 3/4 previously installed and retuned the car as it was running very rich. Feels like a decent gain especially up top but I didn't make it to the track before putting the car away for the winter.

Just a question. I have a extra set of a TI catback and ive welded titanium a few times with decent results.
Is there anything I could do if I open up the mufflers and modify something inside to increase the sound levels but not harming the performance?
Thanks

Best way is buy a cheap muffler system to experiment on. Save the TI system for later. you will be glad you did.
