Hello all,
First off I want to apologize since my car is not a Vette. However I installed a 2004 LS1 from a GTO into my RX-7 and I wanted to post the numbers I made from my modifications since this forum was a huge help in my R&D(thank you all).
Engine:
2004 LS1(LS6 intake, and block) 32,574 miles,
TSP 228R 114LSA,
Katech rod bolts,
PAC 1518 springs,
TSP 7.400 hardened push rods,
241 cast heads,
Custom 4" intake and 4" SLP MAF with resistor removed,
ported/polished TB
1 3/4'' Longtubes
2.5" dual exhaust w/ flo-monster X- pipe.
Magnaflow 14616 mufflers
Drivetrain:2002 F-body T-56
RAM lightweight aluminum flywheel

Hope this helps some. I am thinking of adding LS6 stg 1.0 PRC heads.
Thanks again guys!

First off great looking car. Always liked swapped FCs. I don't know much about that cam but I'm kind of surprised to see it start falling off before you even hit 6000 RPMs.

In regards to the cam; I thought the same thing about it falling too early BUT when my tuner pulled fuel I actually lost about 6-7 hp and trq. Motor liked the fuel fat. This was on crap 91 octane too.

That's what I'm talkin' about.
Will be interesting to see how that LS7 clutch holds up for you.
I'm sure it'll be fine on the street.
Any plans to run her at the track?

I love the LS7 clutch with the flywheel. It is very streetable and no slipping yet...just still getting used to the T-56 and its super close gate pattern.
I do plan on running in the Porsche club of america late this August. Other then that maybe a few SCCA runs and a stop at the 1/4mile when I get my Nitto NT05R's on the back....the Falken FK-452's just are not cutting it in 255/40ZR17.
Right now I am just having to re-learn the cars behavior since it is night and day compared to my old rotary turbo set up. Once I get the suspension dialed in next season will be full time........pocket book permitting(not to mention the wifes patience)

Thanks slowtealz28 & mcm95403. The car has been a 7 year project. Everything on the car was done by me. I went through many rotaries and finally got fed up last May when my heavly modded rotary gave out. This LS swap took me about a year. I am addicted to torque now lol.

FAST Intake will definitely help with the upper RPM issues.... I had and LS7 clutch in my car for 4 years with no issues..... other than its not the best drag clutch but its good on the street and feels like and OEM unit good swap car looks awesome and thanks for posting

The look on peoples faces is priceless when I give it full throttle....makes me smile big every time
NICE !!!!!!!!!
WOW gorgious FC man! Must be a rocket ship at 2700 lbs! IM sure that thing could snap off some mid 11s
The dyno said in the "Perfect World" it should run 11.4....lol......I have a lot to work on but when I do hit the 1/4 mile I will post up my timeslips here too.
Nice TurboII very clean install, your definitely gonna need some sticky tires

So I have read that the FAST intake compared to the LS6 intake is really uneccessary unless you plan on going forced induction. The $800 price tag makes the little hp/trq gains seem a bit to pricey. Is this true?
I am glad to hear the LS7 clutch is a good deal...it was hard to throw that much $$ at a OEM clutch kit.

I would be really curious about this myself. Down the road (probably the same number of years it took you to build this -- the better part of a decade, lol) I would like to go the direction of a centrifugal supercharger.
