My CCW drag pack is retardedly heavy. I'll stick to my Greg Weld's up front and whichever of my various botched together rear sets fit the track that day.

Low end is GTO spares and F-body 16" rears.

I also use only C5 rims (both 17s and 18s and both base LS1 and Z06 styles) on the back with GTO spares on the front when I race, but it's not even driven solely by my typically 'budget minded' mentality LOL. I had CCWs and actually sold them to use these type of set ups instead.

Not a C5 of course but this combo works on C5s as well:

C5 17" fronts with C5 Z06 17" fronts:

run 5 star fluted bogarts like said before they are light. had ccw's very pretty but not as light as bogarts and a real chore to polish.

I'm curious what you guys find from going narrow and light on the front end wheels/tires. Assuming you don't go to a taller front that is. (taller front gives a better ET due to more roll out)

The rear portion is obvious due to the change to slicks or drag radials. The best being a radial slick, although I haven't researched sizes there.

are you using 15" on the front and rear? and do you have to change brakes in the rear or is the spindle kit the only thing really needed to be changed out?

Rear Prostars are 15x10" with 7.5" Backset. (shown in pic)

With 28" 11.5" slicks I'm thinking 6.5" to 6" will fit the flared fenders better. Check back with me when you're ready, by that time I should know.

15's on the front with Strange lightweight brake kit.

(Doug actually has a used brake kit for sale which includes the modified spindles).
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/drag...-assembly.html

For the rear:
The ECS 15" kit comes with Strange lightweight brakes and any rim will fit.

The LG spindle kit allows you to use your stock brakes, but you'll need a spacer & caliber grinding.
