good times, lower 60' would put the car in the low 12's, the blower should change things alot, providing you can hook up, either way the trap mph will give you good info.
looking forward to the results, I have been thinking about this kit just curious to track results!

Any updates yet, I am subscribed. I love to see before & after results. I am thinking about getting a stock C5 and throwing an A&A SC on instead of going for the C6. Keep us posted !!!

I decided to put a stall and a level 5 trans in it before hitting the strip.

Trans goes in on the 28th.....then it's off to the track!

Why don't you try and lower tire pressure a couple of pounds. I know I couldn't cut a good time till I got them in the 17-18 range, and I am using the same tire as you.

I had to run 18psi cold IIRC. It is a good start though.

Were you dyno tuned? If so, what kind of numbers are you seeing with the new setup?

It is safe to say it was tuned. I would guess he is running around 460rwhp.

Yup, car was tuned both times by Speed Inc.

As a pure bolt on car it made 337/349, post A&A it made 512/463.

460 makes sense with the trap speed.....but the dyno said otherwise. My experience says the MPH don't lie.

I was extrapolating rwhp based on the difference between the two runs, which is approximately 120hp, and average gains of a S/C kit. There are a lot of variables and higher hp cars can end up being slower than expected due to traction issues.

I beat a C6 ZR1 at the track one day, but that was because he had no traction early. Your 60' times indicate a lack of traction as they should be lower. That size/compound tire is not optimal for that hp level. My last recollection was that DR's were only good traction until about 450rwhp or so.

Very true, on all statements......I really went soft on the launch as I'm still a little gun shy from the nightmare experience I had with my 5th gen Camaro at the strip.

I'm planning on heading back out to the track on Monday....I'll keep ya posted.

Default ttt

Looks good for what it is man other than the 60 ft. But for sure in a M/T D/R you have to much air in them. On the set up weight of car and all that crap, but pull ait to 18 psi and next run go to 17 psi. Then ajust from that.... Robert
