Slightly New Best 10.862@130.12mph
Got 4 passes in today. 2 I had to let off the gas (no cage) 12.679@86.92 and 11.370@98.56 I was surprised I didn't get a warning on the 11.3 pass, so... I went all out the third pass 10.883@130.24. Still, no warning So got one last (4th) pass:
10.862@130.12 (New Best) and New Best 60' 1.724 (I was then scolded and told to "go to Tech"! I ended up leaving anyway after that).
Any suggestions on rollcage setups? Is it worth it? I only go racing a couple of times a year, and it looks like my days are numbered without a cage!

Congrats on the new best!
If you're not going to race regularly, I would suggest not getting a roll bar.
However, a roll bar that is good down to 10.0, is really not that intrusive. The deciding factor would be your willingness to cut the carpet and drill holes in your floor boards for the installation.
You have to be willing to take the financial hit from the modification, should you ever decide to sell it. Likely about $2,000
I say go for it, but, I wear red and carry a wierd looking pitch fork.....

I feel your pain, it's even worse in a vert without a roll bar! I've been told to slow down, but never booted (yet) and protested at an event once when I won, they bumped me down to 2nd....guess I've been lucky so far...

Nice runs. What are your mods?
As far as the cage, no way I'd put one in unless you're running 10+ times a year. I don't know exactly where Morris County is, but my guess is that there are several tracks within a few hours. Just go to different tracks and keep a rotatation. I bet you'd get away with that for quite some time. The guys at my track somehow NEVER remember my loud a$$ , yellow, blown, tigershark body kit, tinted out C5. lol.

Thanks! My mods are in my sig. The car is blown with meth. Good tip on skipping around to other tracks but I probably wouldn't get too many passes in at the other tracks either and it would be useless to drive an hour and a half for two passes. 10.8xx is a blast but isn't even that fast when you're use to racing... I'm already use to it and ready to go faster.. How many passes do you normally get in before getting asked to leave?
My last trip to Gainesville in my truck, I hit the brakes and cut a 11.51 and I got warned right away. That really sucked. I worked on my sixty foot a couple times then packed up and left.
I don't like to **** them off.
