Default Speed Inc.- Ansar's 416ci LS3 Results!

We recently had the pleasure of working on Ansar's 08' LS3 Corvette M6. We pulled the LS3 engine and set him up with a 416ci assembly with Wiseco pistons, Eagle H-beam rods, Callies C-series forged crankshaft, Clevite bearings and ARP hardware. The car made great power with excellent driveability. 502RWHP & 483RWTQ

Mods:
Forged 416ci LS3, stock compression
Stock cylinder heads w/ Manley valves and dual valvesprings
Ported LS3 intake, stock throttle body.
LG G6X3 camshaft
Kooks 1 7/8" Long tube headers, no cats
LS7 clutch assembly w/ remote bleeder
93 octane

Nice results. Why stock heads ? Would probably pick up a lot with a nice port job

Not bad I guess... Honestly was expecting more. A local guy with a 408 trans am put down 505 on crappy AZ 91 octane with some stock LS3 heads and intake.

Either way, as long as the customer is happy!

Customer preference, upgraded heads and FAST 102mm combo are on his to-do list

For the combo, I think the numbers are right where they should be. The customer is very pleased

I have a 416 with LS3 heads. Ported a bit. Made 480, but I also trapped at 129 in 85 degrees in illinois. Sometimes the Dyno number isn't really important ;-)

Can you give a few more details on your Stroker? Intake, cam, headers, exhaust, cai, ect...and what brand dyno used?

My 416 put down 523/520 when in the 02 camaro with complete 3" exhaust and bullet style mufflers. Now in the Z, using the stock TI catback it's at 508/502 on the same mustang dyno, but much easier on the ears. (LS3 heads & intake)

Feel free to swing by and spin our rollers for free to see if they're any stickier

Sorry to hi-jack OP, good honest numbers considering the mods imho
