Nice job....

Would like to hear your opinion on the m12 vs m6 and comparable incrementals if you have any.

I made the switch years ago.....

Guessing the hit was a 60 something jet ??

M6 easier to launch
My 1.36 sixty was on motor. Nos didn't come on till 1.6 sec into the run.
Then it ramps in over a sec to max hit.

Congrats, nice job!

Surprised to hear you say it's easier to launch, are you on the same tires as when running the other ratios and what was the best 60' before?

Best 60' with the 2.97 1st was 1.48 last year.

Dang, normally I'd expect a loss of a tenth from the reduction in gear. I assume you made the switch to keep from shifting to 4th in the 1/8 not expecting a 60' improvement? Also I'm running that same wheel/tire combo and wondering what you run the pressure at for that awesome short time?

Chris

With identical n/a setups many years ago my experience has been the mn12 to 60' about .03-.04 better than the M6 in general. It is hard to come to conclusions without a massive amount of data that factors in all the variables that can skew the numbers. Even launch technique will change slightly from run to run. That was on MT et streets 26x11.5x16.

Nice pass Eddie!

I agree, I went from 1.54 to 1.49 with all else being pretty equal...though some say you give it back up down track as the shift extension being as good.

Tire pressure was at 15psi.

I hope to be able to duplicate it next track day
That was my first and only pass of the year since last nov. = luck prolly.

Seems I spin at the top of 1st with the mn12trans and rpms
Fall to low when shifting to 4th in 1/4 mile.

I will be at Beechbendraceway in a few weeks to see more results in 1/4 mile.

Thanks
