Z06 H/C/I vs Stock Hellcat charger

Our track doesn't prep on street legal nights. Call it an excuse, but it's a fact.
We got three runs in fresh off the dyno and got booted for noise.
And yes, at 133mph it should run 10.0
I read in this very forum all the time that a C5 only needs good drag radials and a good track to hit 1.3X 60ft times.
:-)
800 WHP should go low nines.
My single turbo 5.3 Nova does.....but not at Portlands track.
We go south to Woodburn drag strip for that.
We might take the Hellcat there. But the Customer wants his car back.

No worries... Mine has been to the track once and went 127mph with a terrible 2.4 60 foot in bad summer florida air. I would think with some traction it should be a 130-133mph car at 585 RWHP and 585 RWTQ.
It a street sweeper for me and I run a true street tire so traction is always an issue.

Not a slam at all, just a guess based on what I'm quoting.
There are many C5s with stock suspension running in the 9s with less than 800rwhp.
9s are the new 10s...

Since when are street tires and connected sway bars considered a necessary component of a "stock suspension" car?
Most of the C5s that I know of running 9s, have stock springs and drag radials/bias ply tires. Some still have the front sway bar still installed.

Are disconnected sway bars the way it left the factory? What about DR's?

It was a short video of a 400 hp car vs 700 hp car..... Looked like it did ok to me. You must be one of those guys with a "factory freak" or mild mods but dyno'd super strong..... or general exaggerator of sorts. Thanks for caring about my eyes

Lets just agree to disagree and you are welcome about the eye thing.

I watched the video twice, the charger was pulling, and would have pulled hard. One thing I know is I have a buddie with 04 z, with heads cam and intake. It made 485, really nice car but was not super fast. What I mean by fast is a 10.50 car. That being said, how do any of us know that charger was STOCK? If it had a tune, pulley and a tire that makes a huge difference. I love when my buddies tell me stock, then they have full bolt ons. Stock to me is straight from the factory, nothing else, factory. How do we know that charger was stock?

Roll racing isn't racing, its idiots making the real car people look bad. Every time there is an accident the word drag racing is used. Not even close, it"s reckless driving. Take it to the track, it is the only way to get a fair start. If you car doesn't work fix it, if you can't cut a light learn to race. It really is a great sport. And have fun improving yourself and your car. Be safe and professional. Ron B.

The Hellcat I ran wouldn't go from a dig for obvious reasons. He tried the old leave on second honk trick but I was ready and my exhaust and cam only C5Z stayed right beside him til 130 or so. We didn't manage any faster due to approaching "obstacles" but had our "track" been open I think I could have slowly put a fender on him.

They aren't faster than a stock C6Z apparently.
