It looked pretty bad. I really want to try a Hellcat again. I was door to door with one from about 40-130.

Another 40 roll Hellcat kill. I think a lightly modded C5Z would give the big Mopar a run for it's money from a dig. I know I did.

I ran a hell cat from about a 60 role and he jumped out on me bad because he was just trying to show off. As soon as I started reeling him in he mashed the breaks and hit the hazards. It was a fast car for sure and I think you would need 125+ 1/4 MPH to contend. Especially if its an auto.

Isn't that the whole point?

They can be beat from stoplight to spotlight. Traction is their enemy, especially with those bicycle tires they come with from factory.

No he jumped me like he jumped the gun. He took off with no indication he wanted to tangle. Then when he realized I was gonna come around him he let out.

Roll racing isn't racing, its idiots making the real car people look bad. Every time there is an accident the word drag racing is used. Not even close, it"s reckless driving. Take it to the track, it is the only way to get a fair start. If you car doesn't work fix it, if you can't cut a light learn to race. It really is a great sport. And have fun improving yourself and your car. Be safe and professional. Ron B.

Lol. Some of us don't have the time or money to "take it to a track". Nearest track to me is a few hours, but I've got amazing mountain twisty roads all around me that I tear it up on.

It runs strong with the turbos .... But I feel like you were being sarcastic with your question.

A C5 would need between 500-540 fwhp to beat a stock hellcat, H/C/I isn't going to do it especially from a roll. The cars are fast, fact.

Not at all. I don't know anything about your car.
TT C5 can be very fast. Depends on the setup of course. But with at least a 1000 lb weight advantage a stock Hellcat wouldn't have a chance.

Just a quick example. I tuned a modified auto hellcat challenger last week. About 800whp on our dyno.
It ran mid tens @ 133. On slicks. Spinning.
They are just tanks.
Put that same 800 rwhp in your or my C5, and you have a low 9 sec ride near 150.

Doesn't it stand to reason then with better traction and some chassis tuning that it would be much faster than mid 10's then?
800rwhp in a C5 isn't running 9's with out significant chassis help specifically dealing with traction and 60'

No worries... Mine has been to the track once and went 127mph with a terrible 2.4 60 foot in bad summer florida air. I would think with some traction it should be a 130-133mph car at 585 RWHP and 585 RWTQ.

It a street sweeper for me and I run a true street tire so traction is always an issue.
