So I just replaced my High Flow Cats last night with Cat bypass pipes. Car is '02 C5Z with LS3, Dynatech Longtubes, Off-road X-Pipe, Borla Stingers, Vararam VR-B2 and BTR Stage IV N/A cam. I have both clips (one with cats and one without for comparison). The camera was in the same spot in the same garage so you get a true comparison of the two. First vid is with cats, second without.

Thanks for the videos. How much louder in person was it with no cats? Big difference?

Very big difference. Open throttle is much much louder.

I just went from 1 3/4 headers with cats to 1 7/8 headers without cats and it's a LOT louder!

Thanks for posting ! I have Kook's 1 7/8 LT's with no cats at the moment. I recently added a true chambered cat back very similar to the one that came on the 69 Z28's. Its not to loud at idle but on the throttle it is lol. I ordered my catted X from Maryland Speed almost 6 weeks ago............maybe one day.
