Everything but the cam was bought used.

Auto trans,
If I had to guess I'd say around 425 seeing it's an auto and an LS1. Nice times in your sig!

Ok, I'll put it on the dyno this year and find out.
And thanks.

My poor short block has 95k on it now, 200 plus passes and it rattles like a diesel when cold. By next year it will be a 383.

Nice! And in all honesty I really could care less what my car makes on the dyno reguardless. I just like talking about this stuff with you guys and thought it would be fun to give my mods and numbers a little attention.

Keep us updated!

Scotty what are you launching at? what tire are you using?

my car is stock suspension et street bias ply 3.73 gear and can pull 1.50 (best) 1.5x 1.6x averaged 60ft's, with the stock 3.42 car would 1.6x 1.7x 60ft

your mph is pretty much the same 121/122mph and last time out ran 11.2x - 11.3x you work on your 60's and i think you can see a 11.5x-11.6x pass

nice pass tho!

I'm running a Toyo TQ drag radial. Honestly they are the worst drag radial I've used to date. I played with different rpm all night. On my last pass(11 sec one) I launched at 4500. That's where I'll start next time. Keep in mind I'm running a Spec mini twin that weighs 19 lbs with the flywheel. I also have the yellow koni shocks from the previous owner. I have no clue about them or the benefits they have lol

I was running them at 18 hot. I've had them as low as 10. It's a fine line of bog or blow them off. When I used the ET streets I could cut a 1.8 after 2 passes in old camaro.

One thing that's happening is when I try and do a burn out I'm getting what feels like wheel hop. I immediately get out of it in fear of breaking stuff. But when I launch the car hard it doesn't get wheel hop. I'm thinking about adding line lock but I don't wanna install it and find out it still hops and breaks something.

Any ideas?

Have someone stop you in the damp area trailing the water box to begin burnout.
It it still hops and you are dumping the clutch correctly then something else is off but it shouldnt.
Review the old burnout proceedure discussed.
Slicks are better to learn on as mentioned before. If you have to go radial Id do the Hoosier 255 50 16.
We've helped dozen of people with that tire launch sucessfully over the past 10 years.

11.8 / 120mph with a 2.5 tells me that car should be 11.5 or faster with traction and good driver your on the right tract tho tires then seat time!

I agree. There's more in the car. But still, great numbers for bolt ons.

Even a 1.7 60' would make a huge difference

2.5 was my reaction time. I don't pay attention to the tree on test and tune.

my bad you pulled a 1.9

this cars on just a tire stock suspension can pull a 1.5x 60ft but the right tire and launch its not hard to get in the 1.6x range and if you can pull one with fast shifts you can probably manage a 11.4 / 11.5 pass

I've been meaning to research the shocks I currently have. Think I may go Hoosier drag radial next time.

What slick would you recommend on a 16'' wheel? Have my eye on a set of wheels.
