How is the drivability on the street with your clutch/flywheel combo?

As you’d expect with any 19 lb assembly. Took me about 2 months to master it entirely. The tune plays an important role. Driving around town and on the highway is no different. Where I get frustrated is when I have to stop on an incline. That gets sketchy lol. I’d probably never go under 28 lbs ever again.

Well that makes me feel better. I have the Mcleod RSt twin with a Fidanza FW. Right at 30.9 lbs.

How do you like that clutch? I've heard it's tricky to slip it.

I've had it in the car for a year now, have done 18 autocross events and have yet to have an issue. I have the Tick master cylinder as well. I don't have any issues loading the car in my trailer or going up the driveway at my house. Not sure how much your wanting to slip it but it works for my application. I'm using 315/30-18 BFG Rival S tires. Drag radials may produce different results.

Made some changers over the past few months. Installed B&B PRT exhaust today. Man it sounds amazing. I’ll put up a video when I get a chance. I’m also going to sell the titanium exhaust so keep an eye out if you’re interested. Tomorrow I’m going to install the RSD snap shifter. The MGW is nice but I prefer the RSD. I’ll be selling the mgw as well.

I also had a new clutch installed that Tony Mamo is selling (38 lbs total with alm flywheel option)along with the ECS brace. What a difference. New bilsteins too. Car is driving so nice now. Can’t wait to hit the track in the next few weeeks!!

Mounted some 18” magnesium wheels. Plan on powder coating them black.

read all the post. like you magnesium wheels too. I just trying to compare where my stands as far as power with a stock cube ls6. I live in south florida and I have / vararam/poweduct/fast92 with ls2 tb/ported mass air/kooks long tubes with ported 243 heads with cam and corsa catback and got 471 on mustang dyno and 482 on dynojet dyno. different dynos different readings same car without changes. sometimes I think about changing it for maybe a zl1 camaro convertible but when I drive the z I remember how great of a car it is. I drive it 100-200 miles a year maybe. 31k miles in mint condition. these are great cars. enjoyed your thread.

Mounted another set of wheels. When I went to have the magnesium wheels painted I discovered hairline cracks on the inner lip of two of the wheels. Sucks I didn't see them until now. I put all of them on craigslist. Hopefully going to the track after the midterm elections

Like the new wheels, keep an eye out for a used 3-piece wheels set maybe reduce some of that rolling resistance. Great numbers, that’s a really healthy Z. Try the Toyo 888r, I’ve had great luck with them on the street

Thanks. I really wasn't concerned with weight on this purchase.

Great thread man! I was just listening to an episode of the "Power and Speed" podcast and they had a guy on there talking about heads and how important a well thought out system is when you want to make good power. Ive been following the GM performance crowd for about 10 years now personally, and it seems the trend is to port and polish and throw a "stage x" cam at it. This build has really opened my eyes to what the guys were talking about on that podcast.

Why are you wanting to sell and how much are you asking?

Don't really drive it much anymore and I'd like a sports car you can fit more than two people in. I'd say it's worth around $21,500.

Post up some 1.6-1.9 60' times with 125-127+ traps and I will believe it. Your traps and being on stock injectors suggests you are way way way way more likely in the ~400rwhp range.
