Default ARH or LG super pros

Having a hard time deciding on which headers to get. Deciding between ARH 1 7/8 with off road xpipe or LG super Pros 1 7/8 with off road xpipe. As of right now I have just Cai with b&b bullets but plans on supercharger down the road! What are some pros and cons of both if any! Seems like I'm comparing apples to apples from what I've read so far but figured I would ask.

Are you installing yourself? I have no experience with the LG's but the ARH were a breeze to install. Took me about 4-5 hours w/o a lift to do it by myself in the garage. I would think performance gains would be about the same since primary size is the same. Other than personal experience with ARH I would go for the best price you can find. Cant go wrong with either brand.

yes install will be done by myself and my buddy. In terms of performance gains I read that the lgs give more power at low to mid rpms while the ARH give more power at the top end. By chance know if there is any truth to this? Just want to get the most out her haha

Remember too with ours cats are NOT welded in place and you can swap cat to no cat without buying a complete new X pipe assembly.

We have a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner of the headers

Full stainless and we include GM gaskets, hardware, and 02 extensions std in every box.

The ORIGINAL long tube header bolt on kit...LG Super Pro's!

anthony at LG makes a good point IF emissions is issue for you,.. they look good, I wanted to try them but I have half dozen toys and they didnt want to entertain a small sponsorship( I would of swithced over for ALL other stuff BLah bla bla).... so I keep going back to Kooks for decade(s) ... why not kooks?

I have LG 1 7/8" to 3". My install didn't go as smooth as everyone else is stating. I had to remove motor mounts and raise engine to create clearance on pass side. drivers side was easy though. Not hard work, but time consuming.

No dyno numbers before and after from my old headers, but they feel like they definitely pull harder up top. Overall, I'm happy.

I've had 2 sets of lg's on my car (one set of 1 3/4 and currently have 1 7/8) and they have been great, no fitment issues or having to modify/cut/grind anything to get them to work and the guys at lg have always been good to deal with... arh makes nice headers as well, I think you will be a happy camper either way you go

LG's on the way for me. These things better fit (unlike the XS Power junk that cost me $$ out of pocket on install charges after they would fit..)

I got my LG's. Overall they fit perfect, practically fell into place and installed themselves, and the power gain... Yeah Buddy! Way more torque than I expected!!

I am in the same boat as you are . Everywhere I read says the lg are much better suited low to mid street torque where the arh shine on top on the drag strip like the kooks do . I’m going with the lg super pros . Maryland speed has the best price right now at 1575 shipped. I’ll be ordering up my kit real soon .

i just had the ARH installed on my A4 Vert. Def woke it up and gave it a little more growl. I had a CAI installed at the same time. End results were an extra 50+ hp. Dyno results are in my profile. Very happy with the ARH.

Default LG Pro Long Tube Headers, still the standard

LG Pro Long Tub Headers were the first true long tube headers for the Corvette market, around 15 years ago, long before some companies were even in existence. We still have the only true race quality Merge Collector in the market for any Corvette headers.
Our 1 7/8 are truly a work of art.
Our smaller diameter headers produce the most low end torque but with our exclusive Siamese X pipe, and Merge Collectors, that we developed in 2002, we still maintain high hp without losing torque

Thanks to all our customers over the years.

ALSO, we have removed some dealers that were violating our MAP pricing to protect our good dealers.

Thanks
Lou Gigliotti

Same here, driver side went ok, passenger side was a pain, raised motor to install. Happy with the performance. Ron B.

Hi Guys,

I asked the guys in the shop about the passenger side:
They said on the Dry Sump cars, they remove the oil lines from the pan and they go in much easier

For the non dry sump cars, they remove the wires off the starter until they are installed (much easier) then reinstall the wires, tucking them out of the way.

We have had big HP numbers with our 1 7/8 headers, good up to about 1000 rear wheel HP.

Thanks for using LG Motorsports headers.

Stock C7 Z06 super charger with LG 1 7/8" headers, LG blower cam and 15% upgraded pulley.

LG Pro Long Tube headers are the only Corvette headers on the market using a true Merge Collector.

thanks
Lou Gigliotti
