Default Just got her back from the tuner, happy with the results

Hey all. At the beginning of the good weather I went to a dyno day to get a starting number on my car. That thread is here:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...e-results.html

Car did 355rwhp which was way higher than I thought it should be with just a CAI (with stock bridge), cat back bassani exhaust, and diablosport ls1 tune. Some people thought maybe it had a cam as well, as the heads are 241.

Since then I've added a V ram power bridge, NW throttle body, FAST 92mm intake, Kooks headers and Kooks Xpipe. Once I added the headers, all of a sudden, I could hear what sounded like a cam. I had Dr Phil(genius) tune the car, and he confirmed that it for sure has some sort of cam in it, mild as it may be, as without it the car shouldn't have made this much power. I'm super happy with the result.

Apparently whatever cam I have makes a few extra ponies. I just wish I knew what it was, lol. I know I couldn't hear it with the stock exhaust and just the cat back, but with the headers and X pipe its clear as day.

Nice surprise! Definitely cammed if you're making more hp then torque. Phil did my tune too - he's the man.. He's been tuning ls engines since before the first one left the fsctory.

Phils awesome! Dudes a genius.

He programmed my 1-4 shift light to be a real shift light, I never even thought of that, lol.

Now I'm going to change the LED behind it so its brighter to see when putting the hammer down.

I have no idea how he did it, but it's awesome.

I only have a start up video right now, and its not a cold start so its a little quiet, but you get the idea of the sound here.

Yeah I think it’s probably just an ls6 cam. The car isn’t that loud until wot, wot though is loud.

For N/A, I'm happy with 400 ponies at the wheels. I'll ride this out for a while until it feels slow, then we'll see what happens.

Sounds nice, 2_hotty! Thanks for sharing the clip. Definitely can hear the cam. Sounds like a good streetable cam that still gives you a nice performance increase.
