No DA%# Excuses VI Fall Classic at MIR
Robz and I will be hosting a rental at MIR on Friday, 11/17/17. This may be your chance to run a PB at a great facility. (Numerous records have been set!) Historically, weather is very good this time of year and the track prep is always outstanding. Rob and I will be available to assist anyone who would like some help. Details are to follow.
Cost will be directly related to head count and we will need your non-deposit to secure your spot.
This will be an exclusive private rental of the track having both lanes.
New this year:
Rick Kim of RKT Performance will be sponsoring the event.
Many of you already know that Rick has been generous in the past by BBQ'ing for all in attendance.
This year Rick is giving prizes in the form of gift certificates to his shop for BEST 60', BEST ET, and BEST MPH to qualifying STREET CARS with MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS.
Only (1) winner per category.
Only (1) prize per driver.
Only (1) prize per car.
Gift certificates are non-transferable and must be used at his shop within one year from this event.
Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
All decisions and winners will be solely determined by Rick Kim.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED AS OF 10/2/17 at 10:31 PM EDT.
The total cost this year will be $138.18/person; therefore your balance will be $38.18 which is due no later than 11/1. TIA
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION FIRST. PLEASE READ DAILY FOR UPDATES.
1. To elaborate on the above, the total cost will dependent upon the amount of people. To rent both lanes exclusively, MIR charges $2,600 for up to the first 26 cars. Additional cars are $100/car.
Track prep is $0.50/LF beyond the first 60'. We like to have the entire track sprayed for added safety.
For example:
10 cars = $2600 + 2{(1,320-60) x $0.50} = $3,860 or $386.00/person.
15 cars = $2600 + 2{(1,320-60) x $0.50} = $3,860 or $257.33/person.
20 cars = $2600 + 2{(1,320-60) x $0.50} = $3,860 or $193.00/person.
26 cars = $2600 + 2{(1,320-60) x $0.50} = $3,860 or $148.46/person.
30 cars = $2600 + 2{(1,320-60) x $0.50} + (30-26) x $100 = $4,260 or $142.00/person.
2. This is a DR or Slick Only event. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. A $100 deposit per person is required in cash, check or PayPal. If there are associated charges with the PayPal transaction, these will be added to your total amount due.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SEND ENOUGH MONEY TO COVER PAYPAL FEES IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO SEND AS A GIFT. Also make sure your screen name is put on your deposit as well as your name.
Deposits will be non-refundable unless cancelled by MIR due to inclement weather or we get bumped. Let me know how you wish to pay and I'll forward you my info via PM.
4. If you cannot make the event, please find someone to take your place; however, they must abide by these rules. In addition, it is at the sole discretion of robz and myself who can attend this event as a driver, spectator or a person in any other capacity.

I was preparing to run this year, BOTH of my cars are almost completely updated and ready to run some new PB's but I have decided to sell them and move on. The buyers are waiting on me to release them after Tommy goes through them one more time. they should be gone next weekend.
The new buyers should have a couple of 9 second N/A cars in decent Fall Air.

Sorry for the delayed response I've been really busy deciding how I'm going to win all 3 prizes from RKt56.
I'm pretty sure I got the 60ft in the bag with seeing who all is coming this far this year. I may have to pilot another members car for the best Et and MPH while wearing a fake mustache and a different tattoo so I'm not recognized as the same driver. Darn rules!!!
Anyone taking side bets on me winning 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th prizes? I mean not sure anyone on that list can compete?
