Default what ratio for best ET time (1/4m)

hi
i have a drag day in 40 days, so, i think i can swap
now, i have install a 2000 3.42 manual rear...
i have also a 2002 3.15 (and not 3.73, sorry, correction the 10/16/17) auto rear
car is stick 383 vortech supercharged i/c/h who hit 928fwhp in hot day (MN6 ratio/RTX clutch) with skinnies front and 28" bias ply hoosier rear
what will be the best ratio... 3.42 ? 3.15 (and not 3.73, sorry, correction the 10/16/17)?

What rpm are you spinning the motor to? You don't want to be making a shift into 5th. I think you should be good with the 3.73 and it will likely yield a better 60'. Use a simple online gear calculator to determine how far you can stretch 4th gear out with your 28" tire and max rpm.

What rpm ?
i want shift at 6900/7000

for the rest... don t know...
last time was completly on other spec : 346ci only, stock heads, simple carbon disk clutch vs RXT, 3.4/7.33 pulley/damper vs 3.125/8 now, old 26" et street rear vs new 28" hoosier bias ply now, and 285 front vs skinnies now
best old et time was 11.133, 7400rpm in 3th gear on the 50 last meters (impossible to pass in 4th cause clutch issue)

perhaps i can hit 7000 in 4th gear with the 3.42 and the 26", but probably not with the 28, and impossible with the 3.15 (and not 3.73, sorry, correction the 10/16/17) !

but, yes, i can try lo calculate this

calculation done...
i was at 128mph at 7400rpm in 3th with 26" and 3.42...
i will be at 170mph at 7000 in 4th wirh 28" and 3.42... so, i ll never see this rpm in 4th with the 3.42, no need the 3.15 (and not 3.73, sorry, correction the 10/16/17) for this lol

My buddy is making close to 1000 with a mn12 and 3.42 with a 28" bias ply.

He also uses the RXT clutch.

He's done pretty well with it.

1.40/9.21@157

3.42 will be fine for you.

Also, i m +900 flywheel, not rearwheel
And, it's just on european airplane whit just 3 or 4 dragstrop weekend... i will never see 1.4x there

Thats my car in the video. It's a C6Z T56 and Diff. Tires are 28-11.50-16 Hoosier QTPs. I will typically shift at 7k when running for ET. As for fuel consumption, are referring to mpg?

Stock T56 trans and diff from C6Z before the Z was 6060 ?
it's the next step for me, but i think i need also rear cradle, C6 rear control arms, and perhaps torque tube, and reweld catback tube

7k is what i want to shift, but i'm 383 (i was shift at 7400 when 346)

Wes, MPG, i'm at 10 in mixed town and highway

Thats it. I bought the trans/diff and cradle all together. Besides the offset mounts, all you need to do is lengthen the over axle pipes to clear the diff.

10-12 mpg is about right. About 200 miles out of a full tank.

Yes.
The C6Z trans/diff conversion does require the C6 cradle and extending the over axle pipes.
You can use either the C5 or C6 lower control arms if you have coil over shocks.

If you use the C6 LCAs, you will need the C6 spring if you don't use coil over shocks.

In case you haven't figured it out by now, you most certainly do not need coil over suspension to get good track times.
