Default Made it to the 10s!!!!!!

After a lot of work, we finally got into the 10s last nite at Orlando Speed World during a private track rental..... I posted my 3 time slips. I had about 10 people ask me how we got it to run so consistently. The car is a dream.... The slips are literally different by just a couple hundreths... I am amazed. I love my shop. Miracle workers. Ready to make this a bracket car.

Yeah, that was at bithlo... I actually have an entire video on FB of the entire build... But here is the short of it

LS1 (upgraded block)
Manley Platinum 10.5s (forged rods & pistons)
Texas Speed Cam 600/600 228/228 110 108
241 heads p&p
400 crank ( making it the "383")
BBK Intake
92 throttle body (BBK)
60LB Bosch injectors
Ultra gold rockers
moved up to twin 13 inch fans to stop the crazy heat, along with a double sized radiator (pushing 3640 cfm)
StreetFire coil packs
4L60E trans upgrade with billet servos, baskets etc
3500 Stall
Nitrous Express fogger 50 thru 150 shot fogger setup
Vararam Ram Air
Nitrous Express Maximizer 5 progressive controller

Bunch of other little things lol. But that is what got me there. I may drop a few pounds and go to a 200 shot to make 10.05-10.10... Trying to avoid the 9s, lol. I dont want a roll cage

Let me know when you are going back out there. Me and the guys from our shop will be there with the Vette and probably an Evo X or two.

What kind of temps are you getting with those fans?
i just put in a dewhitts in the vette and now running no hotter than 199 in florida heat and traffic. I kept the stock fans. With the stock radiator, i was getting around 119 to 121 with this new 418 stroker

I was consistently in the 225-235 range, but i credit a bunch of that to the Florida heat. With the new fans, i run about 215 on the very hottest days in traffic. On the street during normal weather, I run about 190... In the evening, I dont break 175.

I have 18s on the front nitto 555 285/45 and 19 inch rims on the rear Nitto NT05s 305/45s I had to use 5/8 spacers on the rear but they only hang out about 3/16ths at the bottom side. The NT05s hook really well, even at WOT with a 150 shot.... I just picked up the pills for a 175 and 200. Gonna give it a shot next Wednesday night. This freakin motor LOVES the nitro... Loves the track.. Hates daily driving.. total freak. Wheels are american racing 5 spokes. 19x10 and 18x8.5

Have you thought about a radiator change to bring those traffic temps down ? The stock ZO6 radiator is a small little sucker compared to a dewhitts. With your fans...you would probably be at 195 in Florida traffic
