Default I need some suspension advice (drag setup)

We are coming up on the last Street Shootout at Bristol & I could use some advice. 2000 coupe with 402 ls2. 482 rwhp & 502 ft lbs of torgue. Built A4 with Yank 3400 power adder converter. RPM diff with 3.42 gears.

I have Ride Tech single adjustable on all 4 corners, any idea on what shock settings to run front & rear. I also have the front sway bar still on the car. M/T 275/17 drag radial on Z06 fronts.

I have had the car to the track twice this year and ran several 11.0?'s in the 122 to 124 mph range. Best 60 ft was 1.51 but the car will not leave consistently as I also have some 11:20 timeslips.

I could use some help on shock settings & should I remove the front sway bar. I need all of you experienced C5 guys to chime in.

Thanks

Remove the sway bar.

Front shocks 2 from full loose

rear shocks 2 from full stiff.

Tires at 18psi.

Start there.

Make sure you you leave at the same rpm each time.

Make sure you stage exactly the same each time.

Best of success to you.

Thanks Capp, I will start the and see if I can't get the 60'S to settle down. It seems to leave better when I stage at around 1500 & flash it vs foot braking to 2500. I hope the air is a little better and I Crack the 10's at Bristol. My dragster runs mid 4.60's there but if I race any of the tracks in the Carolina's it runs mid 4.50's so I know the track is a little slow compared to others. I just need the DA to be around 2500 & I can get there.

Bristol is a beautiful facility. I hope to race there one day.

My cam/converter c5 60 fts a 1.5 on stock suspension. Play with your launch RPMS. I stall it up to about 3k to launch. I found that is where I get the best results.
