I think everyone would have been quite upset if we raced for only 2 or 3 hours.

Hey guys, mighty mouse reserved my spot this year and last year. Can I bring a buddy with a twin turbo big block 1/8th mile radial car this year on the 30th if we have a bunch of people that can't make it?

We are watching the weather closely.
Please arrive by 8:00 am should we need to make a game time decision.
Here is information on MIR's track rental that is posted on their site.
If you choose to cancel the rental because of bad weather, you must cancel before 5pm on the previous business day. If you cancel after 5pm of the previous business day, you will lose your deposit. If your rental gets rained out after any passes have been made, then the full amount of the rental is still due. If the rental gets rained out after prepped but no runs have been made then cost of any prep past the 60’ clock is due along with the loss of renter’s deposit.

The MIR track rental has been cancelled due to the weather. The forecast has the weather moving in around 10 AM and that won't be enough time to have the track ready.
We will have another rental in March. We are working on that date. We can refund the rental fee but you will not have a guarantee spot if you do.

In order to have a better chance of getting good weather, we decided to have backup dates.
Here is how this will work.
The track generously agreed to let us have (3) dates.
The scheduled date for the rental will be Friday, March 22, 2019.
If the weather does not look good for the 22nd, our first backup date will the day before (Thursday, March 21st)
If both those days do not look good, our second backup date will be Monday, March 25th.
I would like to thank MIR for working with us.
Please let me know who is in.
I would need a non-refundable full payment of $175.
If you have paid for the rental, please let me know if you are still in.
If you want in, please PM me for my PayPal info.
Stay tuned to the thread.
