ls7 swapping my c5 but I want to know if stock trans well work
As I was saying I want to know if the c5 trans could work with the ls7 engine or if I should just get a new trans ( goal kinda reliable 1000hp crazy *** track c5)
soo
If I need a new trans Plz tell me some suggestions
and if anything would the c7s trans fit in the c5 ( manual trans )

the 6070 has been done a couple times, but the 6060 swap is almost down to a science now.
one thing to ask yourself is how much sustained heat or hard launches it'll be seeing. if it's anything significant, you'd greatly benefit from the integrated coolers built into the C6 units as well as the more robust guts' better-handling of severe loads.

Drifting
C5 T56 was not designed for the torque output of the LS7.
It'll do the job just fine ... for a while ... but if you drive hard and launch hard, eventually it won't.
I'd just do the full driveline swap. That's my 2c
