Greetings.
Wondering what you would suggest to be the best tires for my '04 Corvette?
I live in Canada where sometimes the temperatures can be on the cool side, but I never drive in the snow.
I am not into the speeding or doing burn outs, but do enjoy the acceleration at times. I simply love to drive the car and handle it carefully. This is a touring car, not a daily driver.
Budget is not an issue.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hey bud, you'll get a ton of opinions on this in the C5 General section. Frankly you cam do a simple Google search for C5 tire reccomendations on "Corvette Forum" and you'll get a ton of hits. As this topic has already been commented on and discussed at length dozens of times.
I personally like Nitto tires. I run NT555 G2 fronts but run Nitto NT555 R2 drag radials in the back. For your driving intentions you won't want or need a drag radial.
Thanks Johnny.
I have tried searching, but just wasn't coming up with anything...which is odd, because I thought the same that there would be many posts for such.
Will try again with your suggestions.
Many thanks.
General G-Max AS-05 all season for the win. I have them on my daily driver and they are great tires for the money. I have the General G-Max RS on my C5 but they are summer only tires but I live in Ohio so I only drive it in the summer. I had the Continental DWS-06 on my daily driver before the Generals and only got 28,000 miles out of them so I wasn't to impressed.

I like the way they work together for street driving but haven't had any spirited drives through Crows Nest or track time with this set up yet. When the DRs are warm they have great grip on the street. I've done 100 or so low gear pulls with over 600hp/500tq to the wheels and it bit every time but once. And that one time it was chilly out and I didn't warm them up.
Drove home in a nasty downpour and was surprised by how well they stuck to the road. I dropped my speed considerably because I wasn't sure what to expect. But they were good to go with no slippage issues.
Banked a a few wide sweeping turns on some open rural roads and highways at times 120mph+ and it was as true as when I ran NT555's front and backs.
