Default Obama’s Failed Jobs Subsidy | 99 Weeks .....

Since 1948, the average duration of unemployment in the United States, has rarely exceeded twenty weeks. In fact, up until February of 2009, the average had only exceeded twenty weeks for a total of 8 out of 721 months. To be specific, the average exceeded twenty weeks for five months consecutively in 1983, for the month of January 1984, and for two non-consecutive months in 2004. But since February of 2009, the month after Barack Obama's inauguration; the average duration of unemployment has...

The Communist In Chief© and the CommuCrats© have created the worst economy (and certainly the worst employment environment) in the past 70 years.

And the stats prove that

I've posted this no less than a dozen times. This chart and the hockey stick we're seeing is absolutely staggering.

Totally just your normal everyday "cyclical" bump in the road according to most resident libs.

The more fed.gov in our lives, the less our lives will be productive....Has always been true and is beginning to show real bad in this country. The fed.gov has trampled business in the country and they aren't finding the support to get back up. The regs keep pushing them down.

Notice how the chart falls after the end of each recession except after Obamas?

If you get 99 weeks take it. Than worry about a job. If you been
working for 30 years aren't you ready for a vacation.

Keep telling a buddy of mine, milk it to the end. Since i don't
work been great having someone to do things with at the drop
of a hat. we Just got back from a trip to colorado.

Down side to that is a lot of employers do not want people who have been unemployed for a extended period of time. This is dependent on profession, but it could cost you a job. I'd go plum stir crazy without a job for two years, but I might go back to college for 4 more years if so.

It's crazy when you think about it...

22.3 million people have been unemployed for an AVERAGE of nearly 10 months according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics

Your average unemployed person has been unemployed for 10 months!!!

Do you think these people will just hop back into the flow of a normal 8-5 full-time day job again after sitting on their duffs for that long (many of them getting paid to do so)? Not going to happen.

Our government is actively fostering more government dependence and entitlement mentality.

Interview question: What have you been doing for the last two years without a job?

If you say you've been actively looking they are going to think something is wrong with you as you would've been hired by now. If you say nothing they will look at you like a lazy unmotivated bum. Why would you hire that person?

That's just because they haven't figured out how to get rid of the people unemployed for over 99 weeks.

Are the unemployment benefits still extended to 99 weeks for those people who lose jobs now or is it back to 26 weeks?

Tier 5 is still available in many states. However if you were to lose your job today, you're not guaranteed Tier 5 will still be around by the time you get that far into your funemployment. Should have lost your job sooner, sucker!
