They ALREADY issued a settlement. It's already done. Anyone who watched Star Trek... this will be a Cardassian style trial. They went all in on this one, they let a city burn, the left CANNOT let any of these people walk and you can guarantee that the verdict came straight from the top.

This issue has not been played out yet, not even close....here's a couple of reasons why.
1. If a defendant loses, it's great appeal material. And in Baltimore, don't bet against at least one juror doing or saying something that causes a mistrial.
2. During the voir dire portion of jury selection, they may determine that it is impossible to seat an unbiased jury...and they have to do this for six cases. Motion for change of venue again filed and this time possibly granted.

taking into consideration your second issue, perhaps the judge is a sly dog in his own right . . . . .

If they do manage to seat a jury it will be a great base for an appeal if they get a conviction.
Interesting how they settled with the victim's family due to potential high litigation costs and yet by not allowing a change of venue are insuring high litigation costs! They are an incompetent lot

That Baltimore City settled with Gray's estate is another reason for a change of venue as the settlement is tantamount to an admission of guilt.

It will be interesting to see how they spin finding the three white cops guilty and the three black cops innocent. We all know darned well that's how this is going to play out.

@bolded...
That "riot" didn't affect many areas in Baltimore.
For the most part, the thugs looted their own neighborhood.
