Since this is a Corvette forum, I should point out that Corvettes have had low level sensors on their wet sump engines since around 1990.

OE part#: 10137676, 10137679, 12603784 for the C4's.

Nothing to do with it being a GM product. It's a complaint amongst many manufactures.

A good friend of mine is fighting with Audi currently.

It's also a major issue for Toyota
