Default Science in America

This should not be controversial ... but the flat earthers and their modern ilk of science deniers are hard core!

Generally speaking.....

Politicians are too stupid to understand science.

Scientists are too naive to understand politics.

deGrasse just reemphasized that where he suggested (starting about 3:25) that the only political solutions would be tax/tariff based.

And now we have the most rabid anti-science administration in history.

That science guy sure is an arrogant, intolerant planet hater. He killed pluto, you know. Not sure I accept his theories and his comrade's MMGW theories if they just want to kill planets for fun.

Free money from where again is getting cut? From our overtaxing gov't? Haha - Move to Central/South America and have it your way instead of complaining about our dear leader trying to make America great again!

dGrasse wants taxes and tariffs to "combat" climate change.

Pete wants to make sure he gets his federal funding.

Seems to me to be more about money that anything else.

THIS is why some of us are still skeptical. Follow the money.

The poor fellow in the video cannot remember growing up in America where science was not followed blindly.

That is funny because I clearly remember when the masses and news providers seemed to favor statements about nuclear power from Jane Fonda rather than nuclear scientists.

How about ALL the liberal naysayers predicting in 1972, that we would be out of oil within 7 years.

How about ALL the same pundits claiming we would soon be buried under mountains of garbage due to packaging, in the mid 1960's.

And of course, there could never be enough food on this planet to feed 5 billion folks.

He is feeling bad because the left side of the aisle has called wolf enough times that folks are jaded.

Only the slowest learners and situationally-unaware blindly trust anything propagated by the left now.

Fake news.

And yet some people are perfectly comfortable thinking that scientists are all wrong about science, because the people who know nothing about the science told them so.

Why are we subsidizing the rich? Is your "science" not able to support itself??

How about 100% cut, as it were in the good ol' days. Trump seems pretty generous.

Actually, most scientists in the power delivery field that I work, are aghast when idiotic politicians cite solutions that have clearly not delivered.

Get your facts straight.

I'm talking about the folks here who simply disagree with the very basic principles of physics. Like the fact that CO2 absorbs infrared.
